Pros

You can learn what type of company you would never want to work for again. If you're a greasy sleazy sales person, you can make decent money.

Cons

No flexibility, constantly have to fight to actually get paid your deserved commission. Management will change comp plan if people are being paid too much in their opinion.

Pros

None! No pros to this job you will thank me later for this fair warning in preventing you from wasting your time. Do your research on Google on the company they have horrible reviews by EMPLOYEES AND CUSTOMERS!

Cons

You will end up broke and without a check. Lack of leadership, management has zero experience in industry. High turn over rate. They try to force employees to give good reviews online to make themselves look better!!!!!! They play heavy favoritism. They will dangle a carrot in front of you all day and tell you that you will see promotions and growth and great income WRONG! They switched the pay structure several times while I was there, half the staff quit because of the stress and low income and all the lies told by management and corporate. Any (good reviews)on this company second guess them because it may have been a forced review. Believe the bad reviews you read because they are all 100% true. CEO cares about his pockets and his pockets only and does not care about the integrity of the company as long as he has his money he could care less about how the company employees are doing believe me he's as FAKE as they come. The whole company is filled with Snakes and uneducated individuals who think they know business. The funny part about this company they fired individuals that were making excellent money during the start up of the company and college educated employees were fired just to pocket more money for themselves and hired in replacement employees as lower pay unethical how they treat people. Never would recommend even a phone interview with this company it would be nothing but lies that they tell you and any honest employee OR CUSTOMER would say the same. The products they sell are scams and the company it's self is a scam. Be smart and do your research online for reviews on this place!

Pros

Precise Leads took a chance on me; a 22 year old kid with little sales experience but the gift of gab. Unfortunately I had to move on to pursue a new opportunity across the country. However, I can say that in the only 4 months I worked there, my last 2-week pay check was $2800 and if I would have stayed to the end of the pay-period and got just 2 more sales (which I averaged a day) I would have hit my 2-dot and received a $500 bonus plus the commission for those individual sales. So in two weeks I would have made at least $3,500. Imagine what my paycheck would look like had I been there a year or more as some of the vets have. Every insurance agent needs leads. So the product is a necessity in the industry. And due to recent changes, Precise Leads now undoubtedly has the best leads in the industry (as voted on by insurance agents around the country). Word is going around quick and agents are wanting to get on board. It's very simple: for example a Life lead costs less than $20. If an agent writes a life policy they make anywhere from $300-2500. In addition to that the leads have a return policy if they aren't interested prospects. Lastly they are shared between fewer agents than any other lead provider in the industry. There are also plenty of promotions going on to help you make the sale to "penny-pinchers." Now tell me if that sounds like something that is hard to sell? All you have to do is sign the agents up and the skilled team of account managers handles the agent from there. I came in with little experience but the head trainer (Nikki) does a fantastic job in preparing you with any industry knowledge and sales cycle details you may need to perform at maximum capacity. The office culture is outstanding as well. Awesome peers and leadership who really do care about your success and even beyond that on a personal level. There are daily and pay-period sales contest that are always heaps of fun that pay cash in hand to give you that extra little prod when necessary. One thing that I personally found to be very cool was the fact that the team-leaders allow you to have as much independence or co-dependence as you require. I personally prefer to be told what to do and how to do it, and then execute. They let me do that. But whenever coaching was needed or I had a question, there was always someone there to gratefully help me. Another pro is that if you maintain a given quota of sales you will be furnished with leads of agents who came to Precise in their pursuit of already wanting leads. These sales are a cinch and you get paid just as much. Lastly, the hours are great. 9-6 m-f. Two 15 minute breaks and an hour lunch. The great thing is that if you're a real go-getter like me you can come in whenever you want outside normal hours or stay late and sell to agents in the Hawaii time zone! Ultimately, if you are a go-getter and have the drive and desire to write your own pay-check (Literally) this job is for you. If you want a job where you just expect to sit there with no sense of urgency or energy, then no this job is not for you.

Cons

Don't mistake my "pros" summary to mean that this job is easy. You don't have to be a sales god to succeed here. Sales can be taught, and the people teaching you to sell at Precise are unmatched. What is important when deciding whether this job is for you is: Drive: are you going to come into work every day and give it all you got without getting distracted by the many distractions a typical sales floor offer? Desire for money: If you love money as much as I do then you'll be fine. Because in sales that's what the motivation is. And if money doesn't motivate you then you're out of luck. If it does, you will be well rewarded for putting in that extra effort to get a bigger check next pay period. Energy: This job is phone sales so your prospects can't see your hands or facial expressions. All they have is your voice. If you sound bored, sad, tired, etc. that comes off to them. Emotion sells. Assertiveness: You are selling to insurance agents. These people know all the sales tricks and tactics. You have to be just straight up transparent and tell them why they need your product as opposed to one of the very many other companies out there. And the agents being salespeople, sometime they need a little push to get them over the edge. Some of these guys will walk all over you if you let them. But if you push back they'll respect you and give you a shot. This job does require a short transition period. Whether you're a sales vet or somewhat inexperienced, selling to insurance agents is a whole new ball game. You aren't going to instantly make bank however while you're adjusting there is a base hourly wage you will get paid to ensure you aren't starving. But as I mentioned I only worked there 4 months and I consistently made at least 2,000 every pay period in my last 3 pay checks. The team there does a great job getting you to where you need to be to succeed. Even sitting near other sales guys who are doing well taught me a whole lot. It's as simple as listen to other reps and try different things. When you find what works for you just repeat and so on and so forth.
