Pros

- You can work from home.

Cons

- Rude Management - Management seemingly talks ill of everyone else they work with at this place. Using rude & vulgar remarks to describe fellow coworkers. - Ton's of useless meetings where nothing gets accomplished - Extremely poor job of communicating the actual work. My boss literally sent me documentation to the wrong SDK and told me to work off that. He had no idea how to do the work I was doing and admitted as such often. - Extremely Condescending, especially Chris - Boss would go on long tangents about his hiking adventures over talking about code. My entire interview was just him talking about his hiking adventures. He didn't even make sure I was qualified. - Require a drug-test to code - Termination-happy - Low-pay - Bad working environment ( Constantly getting emails like "PVC is disappointed by our latest employee satisfaction survey & committed to doing better" )

Pros

Can be fully work from home (depending on position) Great if you're interested in learning the basics about the communications field. Employees are very friendly

Cons

Low pay. I've learned several new skills and received very little in return. Disorganized managers. Often times, a managers lack of planning becomes another employees' problem to deal with, usually on a tight timeline. Lacking in proper training documents. No real SOP. Communication is terrible. Changes are often not communicated to staff until it has already become an issue. High turnover Very little PTO given

Pros

Remote work from home position

Cons

Horrible communication from mid-low tier management to their employees. Upper management is unhelpful and unsupportive. Horrible pay when production work runs dry. No advanced notice of upcoming changes relevant to workload. Little to zero transparency regarding how much production work is available. Management ignores valid concerns of employees related to work being completed and solutions to improve working conditions. Management hires family and friends from church with no relevant experience and expects experienced professionals to train them while trying to earn their income. Managers you directly report to will lie to your face to avoid accountability of their own wrong doings. Management will often misrepresent what the customer wants leading to massive amounts of double work that doesn’t get paid for. Internal quality control gives incorrect information and feedback to drafters. This also contributes to doing more free work because of the incompetence of coworkers and managers whom don’t check their work. This cycle therefore never ends and all the pressure is on the drafters. Horrible work culture. Demeaning and belittling is the norm. High stress. No support, coaching, or feedback from the company.
