Pros
- great benefits - Product works - CEO genuinely cares although I question who he gets his advice from - HR is communicative - Benefits are solid - Genuinely cares about their customers (yes this is rare)
Cons
- Lack of leadership in certain departments - This isn't true of all departments though and some are run really really well. - Hiring too fast - Sales/Sales ops/BI /Product management leadership doesn't exist. No idea how to build quotas, understand metrics- people have left based on this who would have been great to keep at the company. - Company needs experience sales/sales ops leadership and product management to course correct. - Continually talks about product led company but not sure they really get what that means - Layoff process is terrible - while HR communicates well, in general, they are in over their heads on this one. I was not laid off but watched layoffs happen. - Recruiting pulls so much from the same companies which is fine but Privy has taken this too far. Likely due to referral bonus. Ex. one department is all basically from one company.
