Pros

The people I worked with in my direct team were great. The camaraderie was the sole reason I stayed as long as I did. Aside from that, absolutely zero pros to talk of.

Cons

If you want management to pay attention to what you are saying or doing, add a $ sign to your name. This is the only thing that matters here. Customers are sold a dream and pay an absolute fortune for it, however in practice the software is in its absolute infancy and is highly volatile due to constant custom developments being applied for each customer. The structure is crazy, top heavy and ineffective. This is truly a company where you'll thrive based on who your friends are as opposed to what you can actually offer. PG have acquired many companies (no less than 3 in my fortuitously short tenure) and fail to fully integrate them into the business. Engica is a prime example. After 3 years the office was still littered with Engica branding and felt entirely isolated from the wider PG teams. A case of "oooh here's a competitor with software we want, let's buy 'em" then not giving a care in the world about what happens next. Don't expect to have a social life or any form of work life balance. I regularly worked from 8:30am - 5pm in the office, then headed home to continue work until the early hours to converse with people in the US (developers mostly). The staff turnover is insane. In a sales environment, it's ruthless. In an implementation environment, its relentless. In all environments, its stressful, incoherent and over-bearing. You'll be sold the dream of a "work hard, play hard" environment and "perks" such as free snacks at work. Instead of these gimmicks, your employees may appreciate some sick pay considering the insane expectations placed upon their shoulders. In summary, go and take a job elsewhere.

Pros

Free sodas and crisps, salary is ok

Cons

Working hours are long. Core hours are 8am to 6pm on Mon to Thu and 8am to 12pm on Fridays. Don't be taken in by the early finish on a Friday don't forget you've already given 40 hours at least by Thu. Culture and management style is abysmal. Classic scenario of promoting sales reps into senior people managers when yes, they can sell stuff, but no they certainly can't manage people well which just just creates misery and anxiety amongst the workforce. Leeds office has extremely low morale with everyone worrying about whether they will get fired just because they marginally missed their target. Who brings a workforce back to the office when they were working fine at home in the middle of a pandemic? That's right folks you'll be expected to turn up at the office every day and sit working in a mask for 10 hours plus so that your manager can watch your every move and micro manage you. Don't dare ask for time off for a medical appointment etc and don't ask to work from home occasionally because that could get you seriously on the naughty list for even daring to suggest it. Don't expect to be thanked for anything you do either.

Pros

- Free snacks - Beer Thursday

Cons

Lot of the reviews are fake... So let me give my honest story. Worked at Prometheus for over 8 months, always had positive reviews and feedback during all my time, then we all went to home working due to covid-19. Performance was awful in terms of sales for EMEA office so as a result they decided to fire more than 6 of the newer staff. And everyone was given then same reason 'bad perfomance', in a quick 5 minute call. No chance or interest in hearing our side of the story. Quick 5 minute call to say it's over and return your laptop or you will not get this months pay. One of the most unexpected and heartbreaking call for a lot of us who gave an awful lot of effort and time to this company and it's success. So for cons : - Backstabiing management -High turnaround -Long hours (no life after work) - Will get fired for bad performance even though you're actually doing good. (so don't trust your monthly one on one reviews) - Told to put good reviews on glass-door during my time at prometheus
