Pros

i cant guess any, except you may get good colleague. you will only get to know about crawling.

Cons

# you have to work, work and work. # you won't get the expected appraisal. # you will be judged by the updates you do or how many hours you are stuck in your pc, not by # how much you work smartly, meet deadlines or not. # The company promotes itself as a big data company, though no big data tools are being used. # working hours need to be 9 hours atleast. #

Thank you for the feedback. However, there's a lot of predetermined bias in the content. Working smartly is very deeply inculcated in our culture. Hence, we make sure we don't end up with colleagues who judge (and get judged) by the number of hours put in. While we follow the 9-hour policy like most other companies, along with flexi hours, at the end of the day it's all about the deliverable and taking responsibility of tasks at hand. Employees who share the company's culture invest those 9 hours efficiently, even when there's no immediate task at hand, be it reading up on latest trends or in recreation. Hence, the fact that this concern has been raised questions personal ability to deliver. As for crawling, that indeed is at the core and we advertise ourselves clearly as “Web crawling for Enterprises”. But the scale we deal with is huge. We provide terabytes of data daily to our clients and that along with the customer experience is our USP. Nevertheless, there are multiple product lines being launched as we achieve more success with our current portfolio. Also, a lot of this is automated leveraging state-of-the-art tech stack so calling it "just crawling" is quite an understatement :)

Pros

There are little to none The office is located in indranagar

Cons

The office is located on top of a chicken shop, always stinks up entire place ,it gets worse when it rains. They are always hide stuff from employees . Like for example they told they will provide pf for employees and during initial discussion the company they will pay their share 12℅ but later changed the rules without telling anyone . They always do stuff like this. The founder always disregard your work unless you are his favourite. Will always question your quality even though hard worker. Salary and raise are very less compare with other companies. Office politics is huge even though the team size is 20 , the one guy who cause you so much trouble. Hiring process is very bad . False marketing . There are more

Thank you for the review. Not sure if the location of the office is something to complain about anonymously here since you'd have visited the office during the interview process too. We are proud that we've used the bootstrapped funds optimally. Regarding the PF, looks like you misunderstood a legal document. Employees have always sent us their clarifications and we have promptly clarified it for them. As an organization, we can neither change nor effect PF rules. There's less to complain about when not approaching HR in a small team :) We are obsessed about the quality of work we do, and hence as you rightly pointed, that's something we can't compromise on. Despite our stringent hiring process, if an employee fails to perform as per expectations, we invest quality time to bring him/her up to that level. Unfortunately, that's a situation of misfit for both company and the employee. We are one of the higher payers when it comes to salary. Our average salary is above industry standards. As for raise, we couldn't have been more generous because performers have been awarded raises in ups of 50% at times. Additionally, performers are rewarded from time to time, formally via our awards program and casually over starbucks/ice cream/movie tickets. I'd request you to retrospect into the points you've mentioned since they look more like venting out than genuine feedback. We'd like to wish you all the best for future endeavors.

Pros

You will get a lot of freedom to work and decent responsibility. You will get to learn a lot.

Cons

There are a few but major setbacks here. 1. The CEO is always negative and unappreciative of your work on your face. Even though he would praise your work in front of other people behind your back, but to your face he will always be negative. 2. You learn a lot and work on anything you want to, but there is zero guidance. No fixed plans, and a lot of micromanagement. 3. The company atmosphere is like a hospital. You are not allowed to talk or take breaks. 9 hours sitting is a must. But you will only be ever appreciated if you stay for 12 hours. It definitely gets on your nerves. 4. Don't ever expect any growth if you are not looking to slog 14 hours a day and most of your weekends.

Thanks for taking time to review. Let's get the quantitative misinformation out of the way. No one is expected nor anyone clocks 12 hours. That'd be very silly. Based on our logs, max average is 9 hours and last someone had to come to office on Saturday was 1.5 years back and there too they got comp off. At times you'll stay a bit late to finish the stuff, at other times you'll go early, that is natural. Measuring timing is foolish and everyone ignores it if there is output and focus. Coming to the next point that you are told on face that performance is not good. That has to do with style of your manager. Mentioning both good and bad performance in one to one is a good idea, and is encouraged. Additionally, good performances should also be rewarded and recognized publicly (only last quarter I think 7 people got award for their performances). Given the concerns raised here, I'm afraid it was a case of not meeting work deliverables on multiple occasions. We'd like to wish you all the best for your career ahead.
