Pros

Great people that were mission driven and aligned. Always ready to go the extra mile to find a path toward success. The first time I've seen such broad buy-in to will a company forward.

Cons

The business struggled to find a repeatable business model that scaled and the pandemic created a priority shift across the entire healthcare ecosystem that exacerbated this problem.

Pros

- My direct manager supports healthy work life balance - Decent healthcare benefits & HSA - Flexible and remote work

Cons

Propeller is full of smart individuals, but more and more of those talented individuals continue leaving with minimal notice which is both upsetting and obvious that there are major issues with the company. Unfortunately Propeller seems to not care about the massive talent they lose weekly and instead try replacing said talent with overseas contracts despite consistent objections from employees (there have been massive hiccups working with overseas workers). There is an insane amount of favoritism in the company. If you’re one of the chosen ones you can expect multiple promotions…if not then sorry, you’re invisible (no matter how great of work that you do). Bloated management: Everyone is a manager, director, etc. and too “busy” to do grunt work, leaving all the actual work to a small group of employees. And then they wonder why nothing gets done on time. Executive leadership talks in circles and refuses to answer town hall questions honestly. Instead they just say fluffy corporate lingo and never actually answer the questions. Leadership loves blaming all of their problems on remote work…despite constant feedback from employees that they enjoy working remotely and that the real problems are with incompetent managers. Culture is nonexistent. They don’t recognize Juneteenth as a paid company holiday.
