* Not a great product or vision; company has been around for a while and isn't going anywhere any time soon
* High voluntary turnover (because of the above)
* CEO has good, competent directs but he overrules them constantly and makes bad calls
* Confusion of the PubNub name with another "well-known" website creates a distraction in the market
* VERY bureaucratic for such a small company; very hard to bring on new vendors and "GSD" which is ironic because there is a team called "GSD"
* No career advancement
* I can't believe that I'm saying this, but there is not enough bathroom capacity - this is a REAL problem, not kidding!
* A high degree of off-shoring and out-sourcing
- Company opened up an office and is laying off good employees to take advantage of the cheaper labor
- Marketing is outsourcing a lot of its work
* Few benefits (even by startup standards)
To be honest, I am surprised that the VCs have continued to put money into this thing - don't expect any return on this investment!
