I never hated a job before until Punchcut

Pros

It is located on Union Square if you think that is important. Also, compared to other design studios, Punchcut is very well organized.

Cons

This place has to be the most sterile work environment I ever worked in. You are discouraged from talking loudly in the office. Coworkers are impersonal and just sit at the computers all day long. Also management is secretive and do not trust their employees. They also micromanage too much and at times can be too organized.

Pros

Good people, young and energetic. Desire to be the best. Small and intimate setting. Creative, design centric thinkers. Healthy work/life balance. Central downtown location. Talented people / owners.

Cons

Management secrecy. Lack of employee career growth assistance. Possibly too many eggs in too few clients. Lack of design diversity.
