Pros

Great management that is passionate about the services they provide. Small but growing office means creatives get to work closely with sales and marketing. Lots of flexibility regarding content strategy and new ideas/directions. Good emphasis on work/life balance; well-stocked kitchen open to employee requests. :)

Cons

Nothing major. The work can be a little dry sometimes, but that's the nature of writing within the tech/software space.

Toxic Company

Pros

-Decent Pay -Coworkers were nice

Cons

First off, let me say this is the most toxic company I have ever worked for. At QASource, as an account manager, you will experience the worst type of micromanagement and inadequate training, leaving you ill-prepared for the job. The head of account management provides zero training. In your first few weeks, you’ll have a few sessions with other account managers who are great, but since you’re so new, these sessions aren’t very relevant. The account manager frequently reschedules or no-shows your one-on-ones, and anytime you ask for help, she refers you to another coworker. When you seek advice from that coworker, you get reprimanded because it doesn't align with her expectations. I was also asked to lie to a customer about the reason for a meeting, which turned out to be a slimy sales call. She then no-showed the call ten minutes beforehand. The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) is incredibly rude and takes pleasure in humiliating employees. During my first mock call with him, I was insulted and ridiculed. I was let go after 3.5 months for "lack of progress," according to them. However, in my closing meeting, the account manager cited lack of progress on Gong calls, even though she never reviewed one with me. The company did not hit a single sales goal last year and fired three account managers (team of 6) within a year. Please do not work at this company as an account manager.
