Pros

One star for the great people who are caught up in the turmoil. It's disheartening to witness the shift in culture at RMA, once known for its greatness. I don’t see myself being around for much longer.

Cons

The company values include "Give a Sh*t," but the question remains: Does the company genuinely give a sh*t about its staff? Politics and annual layoffs. The constant chaos caused by incompetent leaders giving orders and initiating last-minute changes is turning the workplace and its product into a joke. Rather than blaming others for failed experiments that YOU initiated, work collaboratively as a team to address these issues, or actually listen to your team instead of believing in your own fantasies. Recent layoffs saw the departure of valuable staff members, which raises a concern for problematic individuals that are still around despite them being the main cause of this mess.

Mass resignations as culture and strategy have deteriorated

Pros

They used to be a great company to work for, and have the potential to be again if they sort out the issues with management and culture

Cons

Anyone who sees the recent rush of positive reviews on here might be suspicious, and they should be. They've either been written by scared employees at management's insistence, or by that same management that perpetuates the toxic culture. There is a lot of discussion about innovation, failing fast and being courageous - but this is just talk from management that clearly show they have no trust in their teams, or in the data that points to the correct product to develop. Everything is micromanaged and original thought that comes from anywhere other than the top is aggressively dismissed as idiotic or a waste of time that could be spent churning out the latest ill-conceived idea from the execs.

Started great then lost its way

Pros

Free beer. BBQ. Hackathons. Cross functional teams. Office dogs

Cons

I love how the positive reviews in the last week make no mention of the mass redundancy recently or the number of developers and QAs who got off the sinking ship early. Do the shareholders know how the company operates? Blame culture from management, feature factory where it's about getting things out the door quickly by sacrificing quality. The CEO pulled the QAs in an meeting room and made them feel like garbage thus all quitted few months later. Big lack of trust in a 'self organising team' that management promotes. A developer was seriously underpaid and management tries justifying it saying not enough in the budget. Yet spent 10k plus on a party few months later
