      Pros

      Open source Redis is a very popular product, developers love it. It's one of the fastest database. The company has raised over 100M in funding. It has a good potential. It has a good name in the industry. In fact, Google Cloud Platform had invited CEO of Redis Labs at their conference during the keynote.

      Cons

      Redis Labs recently hired a new CMO. He has created the worst toxic culture a company or department can have. He shouts at his employees, he is rude, belligerent and unpredictable. There has been massive attrition in the marketing department. The morale of the team is extremely low. There are folks crying in the office. I am not sure how much he was vetted since he is famous for pulling off sexist marketing campaigns in his previous job as a CMO.

      The people are what make this company great.

      Cons

      Upper management seems disconnected from the leadership quality within the GTM team particularly in Sales/EMEA. Sales managers across levels, from Field and Corporate AEs to SDR managers, often come across as unprofessional and lacking the necessary skills to effectively lead and support their teams. Redis would benefit from a closer evaluation of its GTM management to ensure a more supportive and competent environment. While colleagues maintain a positive exterior, there’s a notable frustration regarding management within all these teams. Hiring a bunch of youngsters to lead people. This place is a circus

      Pros

      Redis is extremely fast growing and successful on the market, which is amazing. The company and leadership team really appreciate their employees and care for them, you get gifts regularly, shoutouts, internal communications is good. The people are very friendly, funny and great to work with. Very diverse and global teams. No big Egos. Loads of perks and amazing benefits and events, remote first culture.
