Pros
RSi is one of the best companies that I've ever worked for. I've been here for several years now, and I can honestly say that the people in this company are talented, honest and a pleasure to be around. If you read through the other reviews, both positive and negative, you will find that the common theme in all of them is the quality of the people in this organization. But there is more that makes RSi great beyond the people. The company has innovation in it's DNA. RSi has a performance based culture - if you work hard and perform well, you will be rewarded. The provide tremendous work-life balance, including the discretionary time off policy (DTO) and working from home when needed, just to name a couple. I also find that the company is overly transparent on what is happening with the business and in the marketplace. The Executive team is approachable and do a nice job of celebrating success. Finally, the culture here is best in breed. RSi embraces teamwork and collaboration to create the best possible experiences and outcomes for customers. There is a lot of fun to be had, whether it be at holiday events, summer outings, catered lunches, team dinners, etc.
Cons
RSi procrastinates too long on eliminating toxic employees. There are still some in the organization that have not adapted to the changes we have undertaken in the past couple of years to become the best possible company to work and to grow our business in a competitive market. While some of those individuals may be talented, their lack of organizational commitment often provides more harm than benefit. The management team needs to recognize who these individuals are, and replace them with individuals that want to be part of the company's future.
