Pros

- The company offers competitive benefits with a variety of valuable perks. - They recruit highly skilled professionals who are both passionate and dedicated to their work. - The office environment is comfortable and well-designed to support productivity.

Cons

- The organization operates under severe top-down micromanagement. - Employees frequently experience burnout; while the company hires talented individuals, they are quickly overworked and undervalued. - There is a fundamental lack of trust in employees' ability to perform their roles effectively. - Workloads are poorly distributed, with no clear alignment across teams or the organization. - Unrealistic expectations create a constant sense of urgency—everything is deemed a priority, and employees are considered behind before they even begin a task. - Leadership has eroded the company culture, resulting in a pervasive sense of disconnect throughout the organization.

Pros

You will be tested to your breaking point - some people thrive in that environment.

Cons

They don't seem to understand the difference between a lack of process and being agile. There's limited understanding that being agile sometimes means being a little late on deadlines. They expect all of their engineers to be rockstars. That's fine for a little while, if the pay is good enough, but it doesn't scale - especially if the pay is not good enough. They don't seem to care about diversity in any meaningful way. Don't get me wrong, they're happy to just accept anyone at their merits. I never got the sense that they wouldn't give everyone the same fair chance, but I never got the sense that they cared about ensuring that their team was not homogenous. It felt like they would prefer an echo chamber over even the mildest dissenting voices.

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate you taking the time to provide it, even if it isn't always what we want to hear. Feedback helps us innovate and improve, which we are committed to doing. Finding the balance in a start-up between the innovation and excitement that comes with trying to do something that has not been done before and creating structure to thrive in the ambiguity is a constant opportunity that we will continue to challenge ourselves to get better and better at. We are excited to say that we have made some big strides in our agile methodology and approach as of late and are seeing some awesome momentum. Thanks again!

Pros

They manage to get some great people through the door and they receive consistent feedback that most employees really enjoy their co-workers.

Cons

The high you experience at the beginning of your employment dies around the 3 month mark. If you are looking for a People first mentality from leadership, this is not the place. They care about the customer, the developers and a few others who have learned to fall in line and play the game. It's very much a you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours workplace. Sticks and carrots. Not progressive, boy's club environment, leaders need to attend a course in Communication 101.

Thank you for your feedback. I appreciate you taking the time to provide it, even though this one in particular is very harsh. I am also very sorry that you walked away with these feelings about RP. It was frankly very surprising to read your comments. You know I always have an open door policy, so I wonder why you did not pull me aside to share some of these frustrations and given me a chance to address them. I am committed to building a great team and continuing to make RP a better place to work. You recognize that we care a lot about our customers -- thank you for that. I strongly believe that if we do not take care of our people, we are not taking care of our customers, so your comments are very disturbing to say the least. We have a high-performing team and we are disrupting an industry, which is not easy. We work in a fast-paced environment and our business is quickly evolving, which may be challenging for some. We always strive to live our values and treat every person fairly and with respect. I do wish you all the best in your future endeavors and hope you find a place that is a great fit for you. Stay safe!
