Pros

It has a startup kind of environment meaning that you get exposure to a lot of different and interesting projects while working for third party clients. The company is probably worth the first six months of your job especially if this is your first.

Cons

Your experience mostly depends on the team that you are into. When I was hired, the recruiter didn't hesitate to let me know that I was replaceable, and many people would be willing to take my job if I didn't decide to move in two weeks (I was from New Jersey btw). They have a fire at will policy which means that they can fire you with or without reason and that unfortunately doesn't retain talent since you would never know when and for what reason the company would fire you The pay is way below industry standards especially for the amount of work that you do. My supervisor had a very unpredictable behavior and was seldom responsive to requests, concerns regarding your work or project. The senior analysts/managers (except for one) on my team lacked the patience to teach the subordinates (associates) and working with them felt like walking on eggshells. All in all, the team entirely lacked professionalism and got away with bad or rude behavior. As I said, maybe it depends on the team you are in since the company does a lot of things. However, if your job is within consulting in this company, then I would suggest looking elsewhere because there is a better team and there are better opportunities waiting for you.

Pros

Everyone is nice and collaborative. A lot of smart people at the analyst level. Everyone leaves after 1-2 years so new employees can get a lot of experience very quickly (helpful for exiting to a better paying role).

Cons

When it comes to compensation and promotion the company does not deliver because they only care about maximizing their $ per hour on contracts. It does not matter if your work brings in new contracts or not. Management will tell you that you're performing really well and will be rewarded, but no matter what they stick to a set 1.5 yr promotion schedule with minimal pay raises (and remember, you start at compensation/benefits ~40% below industry standard). My advice is start looking for a new job after you get around 8 months of experience -- you will easily be able to find a job that will pay you 30-60% more with fewer hours. The end-of-year bonuses are not great so there's no reason to stick around longer than that.
