Pros

Interesting, meaningful work. Some managers are amazing and really care.

Cons

Some managers don't wish to help their employees grow, they instead pettily feel threatened by their success. They will give impossible tasks and create a set-up-to-fail syndrome dynamic. Also, the business is reliant on government contracts, which is fine, but the yearly budget results in complete restructuring of teams, so your flow is interrupted and you may even be moved into a new role. Lastly, low pay and "annual" reviews are every 18 months at best.

Pros

-Good pay, as compared to competitors. -Decent benefits package. -They do alot to show their people they care and are interested in feedback.

Cons

-Job security is not great, though they do their best to find other work in the event of a contract loss. -Recently, there was increase with tuition reimbursement where you have to replay it if you leave the company within 3 years. 1 year is the usual. 2 years, I can accept, but 3 years is excessive.
