Pros
Some very accomplished and bright individuals work here. The Plaza location is a nice place to work. Good exposure to specialty/niche P&C insurance. Many facets of insurance interacting together. Small organization (40 employees). Profitable organization.
Cons
No concept whatsoever of employee value or loyalty. A fear-driven culture where senior management politically ostricizes and disspells any individual brighter than themselves. Some really bright & valuable employees have been chased out of Rockhill for this very reason. Truly an elitist bureaucracy which provides no communication or outlets to the rest of the staff. Owned & managed by a far bigger insurance entity, whose presence is distant and incompatible with Rockhill's culture. Senior management is simply absent of any vision, creativity or willingness to change.
