Pros

As an associate, you're shielded from the misgivings of management. Make yourself available and you can make as many hours as you want (in the right department).

Cons

There's no other way to put it. Management sucks. There's a severe lack of understanding and a lot of armchair quarterbacking.

They are usually flexible with scheduling, depending on your position.

Cons

Most of the management members, store level and higher ups, had no idea what was really going on in the stores. The managers at the store I worked at were lacking in common sense, to say the least.

Pros

Meeting new people every day and seeing the regulars. Some coworkers were great to be with.

Cons

Management is awful. People get let go and replacements are never brought on, thus doubling or tripling your workload for the same rate of pay. Getting a raise is like pulling teeth. The upper levels of the company are like an exclusive club and they treat the employees as disposable trash.
