Pros

The benefits are great with healthcare, pension, and generous PTO. Employees are completely trained and training continues throughout employment. Telecommuting for a few days a week is available for most positions.

Cons

Over time, the protocols have increased for the handling of each claim and with new/changing laws that require much more work on each claim, the work load has increased dramatically. Unfortunately, this increase in work is not accounted for as employees must do more and more to keep their heads above water. Management demeans and is cruel with even the smallest of errors. Many adjusters are either changing positions or looking outside of the company. Morale has dwindled among the employees. The managers are often sneaky and calculating. Employees are constantly scared and paranoid of losing their jobs. PTO is generous but be prepared to work many extra hours before your time away from the office and many hours after. It is very difficult, if not impossible, to move up in the company as there is always someone with more experience than you.

Pros

Good pay/benefits and great co-workers in claims

Cons

Several VP's are left over cronies from Rocklin. They manage by fear, are disliked by majority of employees and yet they seem to call the shots for the company. They even got our well liked new CEO fired. The new CEO is very whimpy and will not make any changes.

Pros

Pay, benefits, hard working colleagues

Cons

Very high stress, overtime expected and not compensated if you want a decent performance review, corruption of morals at VP and CEO levels (most of them gone), director level has bullies. Open communication claimed by upper management, but employees still fearful
