I worked at SAP Concur full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Free induction trip to Prague for Sales kick off once a year Free fruits Good product Good incentives if you can reach them

    Cons

    - A lot of Nepotism! Can't highlight this enough - Company culture is toxic - Tenured successful employees are leaving to save their sanity - Micromanagement - Low level management with big egos and bad behaviour. Inexperienced and will not respect you. - Big differences within SME and Enterprise teams. Segregated teams - No Career progression - A lot of hoop jumping and carrot on the stick tricks. I've seen way to many people just leave after a few weeks. You are not treated as a person with rights, but as an expendable object - Not enough room for parking (about 20 spots with an office capacity of 300 people) - CRM system is a mess - Salary is very low and not competitive enough compared to other SAP businesses ( SAP counterparts have an increased base pay of 40% for the same role plus more benefits)

I worked at SAP Concur full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Free lunch, decent commission structure (if realistic), some nice people.

    Cons

-Micromanagement to the max, especially in the mid market team. -Incompetent management and coaching (if you can call it that) for MDR/SDRs -MDR/SDRs treated like pond scum/third class citizens (eg. not taken to SKO in Seattle when marketing interns were!) -Terrible, out of date data on CRM to prospect into -Unrealistic targets and expectations in a very saturated market -A lot of snobbish/arrogant salespeople/managers/directors around who thought they were god's gift to humanity and too good to even say hi to an SDR/MDR -Cliques, backbiting, toxic culture in teams -No flexiblity or trust- very big brother styled environment -No progression from MDR role- top performing MDRs being in the role for 2 years+ and being denied deserved promotions so they leave for better opportunities

I worked at SAP Concur full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good product, with a solid support base and R & D team, good culture in some functions. Some very talented and supportive members there

    Cons

Huge pay imbalances, some very concerning members of senior management, i witnessed one scenario where one manager (who was promoted) played two of there employees against each other in a truly degrading way, resulting in a very demoralized team . What really surprised me was the complete lack of response from HR about this well known issue. This saw a wave of very talented people leave to avoid such culture

    I worked at SAP Concur

    Pros

There are some really great people at Concur. And some of the incentives are excellent.

    Cons

No structure and a lot of incompetent people in decision making positions. They screw up peoples pay, they don't reward high performers and they rarely hire internally.
