Going through some growing pains right now. The company is trying to make the leap from a medium-sized to large, so success across the profit centers has fluctuated. I believe however that SCS has the management team in place that can make it work sooner rather than later.
That same change in leadership has lead to quite a bit of turnover. Veteran employees have found it necessary to prove themselves all over again; newer employees get the benefit of the doubt.
If you're looking for a firm with a large variety of practice areas, this isn't the place. Moreover, it's easy to get pigeonholed into a highly specific practice area - for younger professionals that can be a double edged sword. You can become an expert in a single area very quickly at the cost of gaining experience most if not all others. The internal structure of the company discourages working in multiple practice areas.
