Pros

Employee benefits are quite comprehensive. If you are highly independent and already experienced, you may thrive here. Office environment is quiet; some colleagues are kind.

Cons

Not suitable for fresh grads, there is very little onboarding or guidance. You're expected to figure things out on your own from day one. AI only had 3 people including me, so there was almost no support or knowledge-sharing. Very depressing work environment, feels like going through the motions every day. Mandatory 9-hour workday including a fixed 1-hour lunch break. No flexibility, no work-from-home allowed. Work is closely related to the gambling industry, which may not be ideal for everyone. The company culture is heavily influenced by Chinese corporate norms, if you're not used to that, it can be very stressful. You’re expected to stay until the official end of the day, no leaving early, even if your tasks are done. Only 12 days of annual leave per year. Your efforts are often taken for granted, there’s little appreciation or recognition for your work. Be prepared to handle unexpected issues even on weekends, you're expected to be available and fix problems online if something breaks.
