Overtime, half decent pay. Christmas “bonus”. Residents are nice. Hours are better than restaurant. Benefits and 401k.
Cons
May be being purchased by new company, little communication about that. CONSTANT call outs with no repercussions. Lazy and unreliable staff. No discipline. Equipment in facility breaking not being fixed. Short staffed always. Christmas “bonus” not worth it any longer. Doesn’t appreciate hard working employees or fire/replace the bad ones. Often unable to use PTO due to staff shortages. No work/life balance, constantly stressed about what next day WILL (not “may”) WILL bring.
Good work / balance life , very diverse , free meals and wonderful Resident Community
Cons
High Deductible Health Insurance , huge Co-pays and hard to find Providers that accept it , cliquey favoritism and uptight about Overtime yet need the help.
