Where should I start...it already started during onboarding where within your first week of onboarding you're being asked to leave a review on Glassdoor. They know what they're doing by asking new, excited employees to rate them on here. Ask yourself where a lot of the good reviews come from. Salesloft will absolutely milk you out. They overhired in 2022 and employees had to pay the price for it in early 2023. Sales people hired in 2022 were not set up success from the get go and it was all going downhill from there. Bad planning from the business that ended in a big round of redundancies! Their account and territory strategy is pure chaos. If you have been there a while and joined the company before 2022 as an AE, you're fine. You'll have good accounts and can feed off of your pipeline even during an economic downturn. For all newer AE's, you're set up for failure, as there is nothing fair about how accounts are being distributed between AE's. There were even rumours that when a "what was considered a good inbound lead" came in, management would give it to one of the more experienced AE's cause they were so desperate for deals to close at all costs. I don't know if it was true, like I said, it was a rumour. But I wouldn't be surprised. You'll receive the crappiest of the crappiest accounts and are meant to turn them into gold. And then you're being told that the reason you're not succeeding is you and that an economic downturn will show the difference between a good and a bad AE and only the good one's will make it. Honestly, this can seriously crush someone's self esteem and is the most demotivating work experience I ever made, having had great successes in previous companies. Salesloft is so proud of their sales culture but really, there isn't any. You're going to get crushed and milked by them and you'll be compared to the results of people that have been there for not only a lot longer, but also have been there during a completely different economic climate. Yet you're being told there's a problem with you and not everyone fits into their "oh so great sales culture". They are quick to put reps on PiP's, with unrealistic targets to achieve, as a way to then be able to kick them out. Overall, I can not recommend Salesloft as a company to work for, at least not in the sales team and I would not recommend it.
