Like being stuck in a family dispute, forever.

Pros

A true family atmosphere. I made life-long connections with most of the other employees. The owner employs his brother. Whatever the brother says, goes for the most part.

Cons

Women are not really allowed to have strong opinions.

Pros

Lots of good places nearby to eat lunch.

Cons

Poor pay. No raises and no bonuses. Owner is cheap but employees work hard and make a lot of money for the owner. Poor and unprofessional management. Lots of titles but no one other than the owner or his brother can make a decision. Lots of people leave and they don't seem to care. Just hire someone else for less pay. No exit interviews because they just don't care that you are leaving.

Pros

There is a chef that makes great food (salmon, steak, chicken, etc.) for lunch 4 days a week, solid money, one remote day.

Cons

Micromanagement, work overtime, year or more of training (inefficient), everyone is scared to make mistakes because punitive management, sales manager is controlling and out of touch.
