I have been working at Scede.io full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Amazing leadership that actually takes ideas onboard. If you have something to add - they listen. Remote first policy, far too many benefits to that to write here. Some of the best recruiters I've worked with. You have a chance to learn from the best and you never feel like a typical 'remote worker'. You really feel part of a team. Amazing partnerships across Europe's finest tech companies Incredible social events, properly rewarded for your work.

    Cons

If you think you need to be 'seen to be working' in an office sitting at a desk 9-x, then this isn't for you. We value trust.

I have been working at Scede.io full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Remote working is the norm. Super-flexible and although I was a bit nervous about going 100% remote, you quickly get used to it. The ability to visit friends for a week (as long as they have wifi) has been a game changer for me. Work-life balance is very good as a result. - Everyone's super friendly and professional, so no agency-wankery here. A lot of the 'bad habits' of the agency world are eliminated as we partner closely with clients. - Competitive salaries and bonus scheme. - Good relationships with diverse clients. It's not the same as in-house, but is pretty close (having working in-house, I personally prefer this model of recruitment. if you want to focus more on EVP and employer branding, this might not be the gig for you)

    Cons

    - You might miss working in an office and the associated perks that come with that. We communicate a lot via Slack but if you love chatting to colleagues in person, hanging out in the kitchen etc. you might struggle (at least initially) - Bonus scheme has gone through two iterations and is still a WIP (for some teams). On the whole it's fair.

I have been working at Scede.io full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    - remote first business with travel only necessary for team meets (every couple of weeks in London (day trips) - travel to client sites in cities across Europe depending on your assignment - multiple organisations have achieved unicorn status with help from scede so you have the opportunity to work amongst the coolest organisations in Europe in terms of missions and technology (autonomous driving, fintech etc) - opportunity to share ideas across teams/accounts and keep up to date with latest sourcing methods - working fully embedded with clients so the opportunity to work on projects e.g EVP's, ATS implementation and organising training workshops for engineers/hiring managers

    Cons

    - so far 'additional' training has been minimal for non-management. This is something the leadership is actively looking to address. (on the other hand you have the freedom to work in a way that suits you and can learn things in your own time or in regular lunch and learns - e.g leveraging recruitment data to improve the hiring process - current office is quite small however we are moving to a much larger office in September

I have been working at Scede.io full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    • Flexibility is second to none. Remote first company which is fantastic. • Work with great clients- the clients are usually in a high growth phase and listen very closely to the talent team. You have a real opportunity to effect change in growing organisations. • Access to any tools that you feel you need for your role. • Competitive salaries, good benefits and excellent bonus structure. • Leadership team are very approachable and always open to suggestions on how things could improve. This trickles down to all employees and everyone is very helpful, despite everyone living in different locations you feel quite close. • Growing quickly but carefully. • Good company values (TIOTFU!!)

    Cons

Honestly haven't come across any negatives yet!

I have been working at Scede.io full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Scede are the best company that I have ever worked for. They work with amazing clients, genuinely world leading and beating companies from start-ups, large established companies and Games. They pick the best companies to work with and as a result, there are exciting and interesting projects. Scede itself is a group of people who take Talent Acquisition and Recruitment seriously. The knowledge sharing internally and the training/development is incredible. Being able to work with such talented and passionate people is a joy. Management are incredibly supportive and fair. You are given a huge amount of autonomy and trust, if you perform you are rewarded. They reward effort and great performance. I have had countless opportunities to learn and try new things and been supported throughout to develop professionally. This is a remote first business, with offices in multiple locations, you have the flexibility to work from home or in an office. After working in recruitment agencies with a less than supportive environment, Scede is a breath of fresh air.

    Cons

Working remotely is not for everyone although you can work in an office if you choose. Autonomy is given, but if you are someone that needs KPI's and a whip cracking, this is probably not the right environment. People are, to a degree, expected to strive for excellence and motivate themselves to do a great job. It isn't somewhere that wants to micro manage.

I have been working at Scede.io full-time for less than a year

    Pros

-Get to work with some of the highest-profile startups in tech. -Incredible team with a lot of experience -Treated like an adult and trusted to do what you're hired to do -Even though it's remote first you feel like part of a family

    Cons

Your role is very client dependant on who you work with, types of hires and numbers and environment but Scede are picky who they work with so usually pretty good.

I have been working at Scede.io full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Insanely amazing clients to work for and great brands to have exposure too. You get such a strong influence and impact on companies internal strategies. Great team! The people are knowledgeable and good fun. You get to work from home and I don't think I could ever give this flexibility and trust up. You're never micromanaged and get to run your own day.

    Cons

I can't think of any really. I guess if you've never worked in a dispersed/remote first business before, with people in different locations, it can take some getting use to in terms of communications and not being micro-managed, but you pick it up quickly. Plus the teams do travel onsite to the client together, so you still have people around you.
