Pros

SSAI goes out of its way to connect to employees. As a government contractor where many employees work on-site at government locations, this is challenging. Staff are respected for their expertise. Management does a good job communicating with staff.

Cons

SSAI is in a transition phase. There has been a lot of turnover at the management level. As a government contractor, SSAI is vulnerable to proposal losses, which can result in job losses.

Pros

Was supposedly a wonderful company for many years that prioritized employees being able to work effectively. Most benefits are fairly good.

Cons

Company has lost contracts, shrunk or outsourced the IT department, and seems more focused on public relations and having the Latest Greatest Thing™ whether it be corporate vehicles, touch screen TV's for the meeting rooms, or a brand new way to keep track of employee 'goals'. The company is very top-heavy with a large C suite while still seeming directionless. Also, only a half match for 401k? Who else even does that anymore?
