Flexible Working Hours Work From Home Colluagues

Cons

Out dated software that is not competitive both with features and in terms of pricing. Favouritism, bullying (at senior levels), inequality, poor management, mass firings (most recently over 50 staff), unrealistic targets, lack of strategy. These are just a few but the worst by far is when the company asks for opinions and thoughts and then punishes staff for giving their thoughts/opinions if it does not align with managements.

Pros

There are some great people and flexible on hours and WFH.

Cons

The platform is a really hard sell since it hasn’t been improved/updated in line with what customers actually want so churn is very high. Management also come up with random product ideas and are surprised when they don’t sell. Wouldn’t be surprised if the company ceased to exist very soon, especially since there were 59 redundancies made in August.

Nothing at all. Leadership under pressure to motivate and bad communication from the top.

Cons

No investment into the product which made us vulnerable and had to sell because there is no one left to actually run the business successfully.

Done and done. Very pleased to announce that Searchmetrics is now part of Conductor, the leading organic search platform for enterprise companies. Staff were impacted by the acquisition, unfortunately, including yours truly. But despite what some feel about management, not all information can be openly communicated to all staff at all times and there are hard decisions that had to be made. All the same onward and upward!!!!
