This is by far the worst company I've ever had the displeasure of working for. For any developer that is starting off in the industry, it may be tempting to apply, but I highly discourage it. The problems start and end completely in management and the CEO's ability to run the company. They don't care about their employees and bog them with dense projects and unrealistic timelines, then when the devs are unable to deliver within the timeline, all of the blame falls completely on the devs. There is no solid business structure, no development process and the employees aren't treated like humans, they're treated like worker bees in a hive. The culture within in the company is horrid and there were 3 people who quit in a span of two months, I being one of them. The employees are constantly talking about how much they hate the company and most are avidly seeking a way out. There are two heads of the company and they are constantly out of sync, projects disseminated out from both of them but there's no communication between the two so timelines and responsibilities are never realistic. Every single one of the employees are underpaid by a large margin. They target developers and designers who are just getting started in the industry and know that some of them are willing to be underpaid in order to get a foot in the door. I've seen their job listings promising snacks and benefits and a good company culture, all of this is false. The one benefit they offer is health, dental and vision, but this didn't even exist until recently. The CEO of the company is almost never involved in the day to day processes and is holed up in his office working on projects all day and the other head of the company is a terrible boss who shows blatant favoritism, a lack in maturity, and horrendous decision making ability. As a developer, this company pigeon-holed me into an industry that doesn't allow growth and doesn't promote advancement as a developer. They don't appreciate your work, they talk poorly about you behind your back, they don't emphasize education in your technology. This company is just a giant Shopify monster looking to crank out the messiest viable product and make as much money as they can while underpaying their staff. This is a dev graveyard. Please, I implore anyone looking into applying for a position here to reconsider. This is not a place you want to be.
