I don't see this company getting bigger unless they really change

Pros

Pretty easy position when software works.

Cons

Software is very glitchy and neither support nor the developers are in the mode of admitting to error in fear of creating perceived liability as it may warrant some sort of compensation to the client. Very sticky for the implementation specialist indeed.

Good medical benefit (employer contributes to health reimbursement account) Good work/life balance Easy going coworkers

Cons

Below average pay for Portland market Uncertainty of if company will survive another year Nepotism - several employees still with company that shouldn't be To piggyback off of that, several employees given multiple chances to succeed within company, after failing several times before Oh, did I mention below average pay?

Pros

Some opportunity to get in on the ground floor of sales. No reason to stay long-term if you really want to be successful in Sales.

Cons

If you have experience, then don't bother. I was told of ability to make good money, but there are too many stumbling blocks. Software is buggy and new customers leave before you can earn the commissions. On-boarding is laborious and the time needed to get a new customer (lack of staff support) keeps you from prospecting and bringing in more new leads. Management is severely lacking in holding people accountable, coaching, and genuinely listening to employee's or caring.

This is supported by highly experienced sales management who meet regularly with the sales team to provide coaching and mentoring.
