Can someone explain this sense of entitlement by the younger generation? When I hear the younger gen complaining that they aren't getting paid enough when they start at 70k which is more than some experienced hires.....I just don't understand.

    My colleagues were amazing and inspiring.

    Cons

    Management were either absent or ridiculous. Especially bad in providing support and guidance in what was a challenging role. Clients were often complex, not simply due to blind/deaf language barriers. Very often left staff and service users in unsafe conditions, especially during the pandemic. Zero accountability for their own errors and mistakes.

    Pros

    The hardworking support staff and students are brilliant to work with - the work on the "front line" is super rewarding.

    Cons

    Above Deputy level there is no overtime, yet an insurmountable amount of tasks are piled on - many of which do not benefit the students, and overall this sets the centres up to fail. Some staff are screaming out for upper management to listen, but nothing changes. Upper management do not follow the values set by Sense - no openness, transparency or honesty. Staff surveys have been completed roughly annually but no changes have actually been made, other than more surveys and empty promises. All words, no action. This leaves the teams feeling unheard, unvalued and affects morale.

    Really good employees and team to work with at Sense. Structured and well planned campaign planning process involving all the relevant people Lovely atmosphere to work in and always open to new ideas Passionate and humble CEO

    Great if you're self-motivated to help Sense grow – difficult to progress upward career wise in a short-period of time.
