Pros

ShapeShift takes good care of its employees even if you are remote support. They are very open to suggestions and feedback from employees regarding processes and improvements.

Cons

I don't see any cons as of the moment but I think there is always room for improvement in terms of the developments of applications.

Clueless Leadership, Nothing Gets Done

Snacks, fun events, okay place to be if you like cryptocurrency

Cons

Nothing gets done. You feel like you're working for nothing because things get scrapped and things that are done are released half baked. Some employees (including much of the leadership) are nothing short of vile. If you're talented enough to work in this industry, look somewhere else first - or now, if you're still there.

Challenging, fast-paced, compounded risk (startup*crypto), uncertain, learning curve for those not experienced with crypto, libertarian values (only a con if you're a statist)
