      Pros

      Great people and culture. A lot of freedom to explore novel ideas, no expectation for instant results.

      Cons

      Can be difficult to take workable ideas from the laboratory into production since links with factories in Japan can be weak. Salaries are OK for the industry but poor for the calibre of people.

      - Allow you to do research for solutions - Benefit is a little bit above average - Computer Hardware equipment is top of the line - Open Door Policy

      Cons

      - Management does not know technical even they say they know - the environment is easily to let people fool around since there aren't many technical engineers around to do code review or understand the problem that you are facing - Projects are funded by Japan. The financial concern from overall Sharp is real. - Expect to do overtime since they really want to make money fast
