Pros

25% off of all clothing and the staff.

Cons

This is my first job and I would not recommend this as a first job unless you want to stress and pull your hair out. The reason why I said I learned a lot because you don't get much training you pretty much sink or swim. You can tell the managers care but they don't have much training as well. You would think working for a "global " company you would have some type of training and its not just me its others as well. For my first job you have to aways be on your toes. One minute they don't want a task done boom on a busy Sat they need a huge task done right away. Or vice Versa they always plan these task and they will one we will start the task and not get clear direction not because of management but because of upper management . Also if you only want a minute raise after a year this is the job for you even when you get an A on your review. Their seems to be no communication in the corporate world because their is always confusion. You do everything o your own and I mean everything WE are treated like salves they want so much from us but give us so little ex. training wise etc. If you do start working here just be prepare for an unorganized company that just needs to get it together before its too late.

Pros

Where do I begin? Well let me start off by saying getting paid every week is amazing! 25% off clothing that's already very affordable. FT managers are offered benefits Flexible scheduling Let me tell you a little about my experience this far. I have only been with Shasa a few months but, I have learned more here then I have at any of my previous employers. I've been given the opportunity to hire, interview, train, and manage the day to day operations of the store. Every day at Shasa is a challenge and I love it! My boss is very firm but fair I'm constantly being coached and challenged so I can grow with the company.

Cons

I won't sit here and say things are perfect because no company is. Things change a lot at Shasa and you half to be able to adapt to change or you won't work out. You must be flexible with your schedule because you do get surprise tasks. Corporate visits frequently and depending on their mood things can go great or not so great. The goals aren't realistic at times.

Pros

I been with the company for over 2 yrs and this last year and 1/2 things have changed for the better. 1. Improved field structure in policies and process 2. Field ideas are being heard and launched if this is the right thing for all stores 3. New roles in the field are being launched to create more internal positions and promote growth from within for all levels 4. Sales manager tools were developed to drive sales 5. Training and development for all levels have been given to employees, focusing a lot on assistant Mgr development. In our last training we were told we are "the future leaders of Shasa." I thought this was great to hear. 6. Strong support from corp partners. There have been positive changes within corp, people are experienced and come with strong backgrounds. 7. Better product is being purchased with buyers who have previous experience in top A companies. Frustration- we are going through a product transition now so new product is coming in slower than normal 8. Pay for mgmt. has changed for the better this last yr. The company overall has changed throughout the years for the better. It is growing but at a slow and steady pace. This focus in building a solid foundation in the US. There are new field leaders that have done great things for the field and company.

Cons

This is a company that is still creating structure and building a solid foundation. This is not for everyone, especially if they like 100% structure where everything is found in a manual. Accountability is the focus so if you're not use to being held accountable this can be a difficult environment.
