      A big stable but also vey hierarchical company

      Pros

      The company has quite extensive benefits to offer. It's seems very stable since it is financed by Samsung and Samsung is continuously growing. There are several teams in the company, also many styles of management, so the environment might be different (for good or bad) depending on which team you are.

      Cons

      The company is very hierarchical, I didn't feel much freedom to make part of decisions, but I guess that's what happens with big companies. It's also a research institute, so it can be confusing on when to focus on development and research, as the development is often an urgent matter, but your manager expect you to do research as well.

      Good for beginners but questionable management and leadership...

      For beginners, it's a great place to start your career, I would always recommend beginning with Software Development than Test Development (from a software background), due to some time working, the job itself gets really tedious and not so innovative, as for the case of software development there will be plenty of new things to learn and sharpen, if you are interested at you work...

      Cons

      Therefor, one of the critical issue that's observed after long time working is the management and leadership, with very questionable actions and decision that end up discouraging the employers to continue working or worse stay in the company.

      Above average salary in the country. High budgets for projects. Travel and training abroad

      Cons

      Most projects seem to have little or no relevance, they seem to be there just to justify the inputs received by the government
