Pros

Nothing...literally nothing at all. Except Katherine... she’s cool

Cons

Literally everything, this is a terrible place to work. They hire to quick and lay off just as quickly. They promise the world to their employees and clients and don’t deliver anything. Don’t work here!

Pros

There was a time when the company was awesome. Pros at this time were: they bought lunches for everyone Tuesday - Thursday, the Mill is one of the coolest places to work, everyone there got along really well, ping pong, basketball, cornhole among other fun games. The job was really fun and I went to work everyday with really cool people! Then they hired a new President.

Cons

Short summary of the cons before I get into it: -They have sued employees trying to leave Skipio (partial explanation below) -No transparency from upper-management -Two-faced upper-management -Upper-management twists the truth and makes empty promises to get employees to stay -"Highly Encourage" aka force employees to leave 5-star glassdoor reviews and then fire them -Layoffs all the time with no warning (3 large layoffs in the past year) -Lack of direction when it comes to building a product -Underpay their employees and health insurance is pretty bad. Anyways... Ever since the new President was hired, the company has been driven into the ground. To be clear I was not fired from Skipio. Luckily I got out just in time or else I would have been fired too. The new President has no idea what he is doing. His sole answer to fixing the company is firing employees. At one point they had somewhere around 70 employees. They now have around 15. They force you into this "rainbow culture" where everyone is happy and everything is perfect and then mysteriously, people are suddenly let go with no word or explanation from upper management. Every time they perform large layoffs they ask the remaining employees, "How special do you guys feel knowing you're the important ones that are going to make Skipio great?!" A few months later another third of the company is laid off. There have been 3 sets of layoffs in a 12 month span alone. They reassured employees of their job security after each layoff and then proceeded to let go of them anyways. They have also sued employees that have tried to leave saying they are taking "company secrets to competitors". This is ridiculous because Skipio isn't even a competitor in it's own industry. There are so many more things I could write in this review but it really comes down to this - The company leaders are misleading and masters at manipulating their employees and the company is a sinking ship. DO NOT GO TO SKIPIO if you want to feel good about your job security. It's a fun place to work but it's dangerous as well.

Pros

Everyone learns together, and you get some sense of autonomy.

Cons

The leadership was unprofessional, promises were never kept.
