        Pros

There's a lot of passion and enthusiasm from Executive Leadership and all teams, it's the people that make it. Some great employee benefits.

        Cons

High and unrealistic expectations and workload, poorly managed resources, resulting in a lack of work-life balance, poor well-being and staff leaving. Lack of clarity in terms of responsibilities so you end up taking on more than you should.

          Pros

Started well before Covid and went remote first at that time. With the right tools and a culture where people really matter, remote work is an absolute best

          Cons

Requires a reset when not able to actually see colleagues for long periods of time

            Pros

WFH, competitive pay, some great people.

            Cons

Constant layoffs and reshuffling, no transparency from management, disjointed product, very questionable company decisions, no guidelines methodologies or best practices and execs who setout company values but don't follow them. Promotions mean a title change and more responsibility but no pay rise. A confused company that wants to be a fast growing start-up but is actually an aging, stagnant sinking ship.

                Pros

Competitive pay, innovative products, interesting industry, WFH, well constructed orientation sessions and onboarding put in place for new hires.

                Cons

Fake woke corporate culture that pretends to care about employees, but at the end of the day, you’re really just a subordinate and number in the eyes of senior leadership. They over-hired a bunch of employees, and then suddenly, made a series of abrupt layoffs out of nowhere. A bit ironic with a company hence, the name “SmartRecruiters.”

                    • Remote work • because most humans are decent and kind you will of course find nice coworkers here, too

                    Cons

Everything else! If you want a burnout within a year, this is your company. Hire & fire mentality, be prepared…it might happen to you when you aren’t expecting it It became more and more the „usual US centric, corporate tech company“. The don’t practice what they preach. That’s for sure. • The salary is average and the benefits are not competitive • Education & (career) development does only exist on paper • Lots of employee fluctuation • No stability, unrealistic timelines • No transparency

Do you experience that how long the hiring process would take at Thermo Fisher? I got my second interview with hiring manager at the beginning of November but I haven’t heard nothing from them. When I’ve emailed them to check in they just said that the process would be slow, no time frame. I would be able to get an offer soon from other company but work as contractor. Should I wait for Thermo Fisher?
