Avoid joining - highly toxic

Pros

- Decent product - Little to no resource planning and thus you will learn how to juggle multiple things, of which a lot of them don't fall into your role and responsibilities. - Incredible pay hikes of 1-2%.

Cons

- Lack of clear direction, no progression - Moving goalpost all the time with ambiguity and high workloads (far more than what you're fairly compensated for) - Discriminatory behaviour with no focus on inclusion etc - Zero focus on growing people within the company and high degree of micro management, thus slowing down everything. - Senior leadership is toxic, manipulative and I would encourage people reading this to really contemplate if they want to join this business.

Run by a VC firm using their elected CEO

Pros

In general, really kind and smart people. The tool is pretty good although recent product roll outs have been poorly executed. An exciting vision for tools built with AI but tbh I would have doubts that it will be executed well, so this may fall short of whats required.

Cons

The company used to be run with full transparency and care. That was until the CEO (and founder) unfortunately stepped down in 2022. The new CEO that was brought it from the VC company & completely changed the culture starting with two rounds of lay-offs in less than a year. We get it, lay-offs in business are inevitable, but my god, theres a way of making it more humane. Both occasions were brutal, like pigs in the slaughter house. Zero transparency and with zero warning or outline of process. It was absolutely shocking to watch from the sidelines A grand vision but with very limited resource: The vision on paper is great but the reality is that the teams don't have resource to deliver due to cost cutting measures. Ultimately the plan will unfortunately fail and more people will be axed.

Pros

Not much I can say here.

Cons

Limited onboarding and lack of structured training, no time to learn processes or systems. Pressure to deliver within very short (unrealistic) timeframes without adequate ramp-up or support. Lack of clarity in processes and ownership, with multiple stakeholders influencing decisions. Communication across teams inconsistent, with information not always clearly aligned. Environment felt more competitive than collaborative at times. Overall role and environment did not align with how the company presents itself. Limited work life balance, not balanced with local practical working hours.
