Way too many mergers in recent years, the culture has turned toxic and all the good people are jumping ship. It’s owned by an equity firm that is calling the shots.
Communication is horrible and, with every new acquisition, it just adds another team that does things differently without being willing to change. No one is willing to change and everyone thinks their way is best. Upper management is only interested in their share price rising, and does not really care about looking after their teams or actually learning how to listen and lead.
If you are friends with the right people, you’ll get what you want. If you are not, you will never be empowered to succeed since you’ll never get agreement or approval (but they’ll certainly pretend to ask you what you need, so they can pat themselves on the back and stroke their egos saying they tried their best to help).
