Pros

Difficult to come up with any positives. Even the mountain views from the office have been tainted by the experiences of working there.

Cons

Definitely one of the worst places and negative environments ever to grace the technical and health space industry. The owner is incredibly intimidating and will go to great lengths to wear you down. There's no room for making mistakes, and no shortage of embarrassing lectures from the CEO when you do. How one can be proud of how this company is run is beyond comprehension. The good reviews are likely bogus. And look at the responses from SpinFusion to the negative reviews... canned, creepy (think "stepford wives"), robotic, and incredibly disingenuous (much like the positive reviews - they seem very forced). Listen to those that have suffered - they lived it. You can't have a small company like this and argue that so many previous employees are simply disgruntled. SpinFusion is a nightmare. There is just no other way to put it.

Horrible CEO/Management

Pros

A gorgeous view of the mountains and some of the hr people are friendly.

Cons

Management: they all take themselves way too seriously and have serious boundaries when it comes to advancing. The CEO was very rude from the time I was interviews by him until I left. He was practically calling me a liar whenever I'd mention any of my experience. His questions and demeanor were unprofessional and he did not crack a smile once. He's constantly late. It felt like I had been working for a drill sergeant. If you want a job that is high-stress, little reward, and the threat of constantly being fired, this place is for you. For the rest of the general population, I'd stay away. They don't want anyone to ever challenge their micromanagement. Lastly, they are only look for developers, which is very deceiving when you apply to a non-software job.

Pros

The people at the bottom of the company are awesome. They are Fun and always willing to help.

Cons

Okay, I have worked here a little over a month and I honestly cant believe how completely horrible this place is to work. I have already scheduled other interview at a different company its that bad!!!! Everyone that works there hates their life. Everyone is in constant fear of getting fired and management preaches that it wants a great work environment but believes that if you aren't working 10-12 hour days sometime that you aren't doing your job. They also dont tell you that they require you to work weekends. Don't dare ask a question! They don't have time answer questions. You will get absolutely NO support as a new employee from management in training, and the CEO literally talks down to everyone in the office. The CEO expects you to know from day one all of the ins and outs of his software. He is so smart he has no idea how to interact with normal people. He went to med school. and decided he wasn't a people person so never did his residency. He is by far the most condescending I've ever ever met.

First, apologies for our tardy reply. Thank you for your feedback. You're right about SpinFusion employees, they are wonderful and we appreciate everyone here and their hard work and dedication! In regards to the cons, we are sorry you feel this way. We are very up-front with candidates interviewing for this position about the weekend aspect of the role. In fact, evening and weekend work restrictions is brought up in the very first interview and the 'weekend work' of checking the ticket queue from home a few times a day (when you're on that shift) is outlined. We are sorry if it wasn't addressed in enough detail. We also apologize if you didn't feel you received the support you personally needed in regards to training. This position is very technical and the training is intensive and at times, quite challenging. We don't expect candidates in training to know everything right away (after all, how could they?), but we do expect progress in the training. Again, thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback and advice. We wish you luck and happiness.
