No staff Administration in archaic 1950s mentality with old white men and management is bias in that they are best friends outside work place and discriminate amongst nursing staff. No decent pay raises, no incentives to stay if you are a veteran nurse, no bonuses. Most of all, unsafe working condition. Definitely need more inclusion and diversity in administration.

30 minute lunch. We were supposed to get 15 minute breaks in addition but that almost never happened. Wages are not competitive. They are among the lowest in the area. Too much emphasis on people pleasing and not enough on patient safety. You are expected to do a lot with how much you are paid Benefits aren't that great, but that isn't entirely the hospital's fault so much as it is insurance companies getting more and more greedy. Hours can be really awful. Not much of a work life balance when you have to go to bed extremely early because you have to be at work at 4 in the morning.
