Low pay for long term employees. New employees start out making close to what their managers are making currently. Asking for and getting a raise is worse than pulling teeth. Hard work, showing up to work on time every day, and maintaining a flexible schedule (at the cost of a work/life balance) doesn't get rewarded or even mentioned anymore. At my store there are "cliques" and it feels like you are back in high school. Having to work with those people seriously brings down morale. Serious lack of communication between upper management and employees. Racist & homophobic employees aren't reprimanded. If anything, they're praised more than regular employees. Reviews are twice a year. Store director does not let anyone get scores above 3.9(rarely even a 4) and the rating scale is 0-5. Regardless of how well the employee is, they do not receive the higher rating in their reviews.

The store I worked at had mice. Nobody was really worried about it. There was a lot of enter department drama. The turn around rate was ridiculous. 5 people from one department in three months. The pay was not comparable to the work. Old employees were run ragged as new employees were poorly trained.
