Pros

The diversity of my role keeps the job interesting with new initiative and challenges springing up all the time. This can lead to strict timescales and really busy periods but having the right attitude towards work helps me get through the busy times knowing the extra effort will lead to calmer seas ahead. I feel listened to and respected by my manager. All my colleagues are friendly, helpful and committed to serving our customers well. The renumeration is generous with annual bonuses and other benefits. The work life balance is fine with little to no work expected out of hours. The CEO frequently provides the odd treat here and there for all staff, like breakfasts, lunches or snacks. It can be demanding at Step One Finance but it’s also a lot of fun, with good banter and camaraderie with good people.

Cons

Flat structure of teams can hamper progression.

Pros

I have been working for the company for several years and from the beginning I was given the opportunity to learn and grow. My managers were valuing my effort and my progress and they made it possible for me to ascend. On personal level, I was shown flexibility every time I needed it. They also paid for my CEMAP training. I always found my colleagues helpful and friendly thing that facilitates the working and progress during demanding periods. The office is located in the center of Woking, 3 minutes away from the train station, so it's easily accessible from most places.

Cons

The parking has a limited number of spaces so it's easier to travel by public transport. There are times when you would need to rapidly adapt and work "110% " as there might be an increased workload generated by the company's growth.

Pros

The Company is in good shape and has been able to attract support from some of the biggest, marquee names in the world of investment banking. The top management is made up of good professionals who have significant years of valuable and relevant experience behind them. The average employee turnover has historically been reasonably low. Bonus scheme is quite attractive.

Cons

Nothing in particular. It is a performance and results-oriented company and like all such organisations, you need to be open and willing to learn and put in your best efforts, rather than 'waiting for stuff to happen'.
