Pros

There is few reasons to choose Syntronic as a workplace: #1 If you want challenging work/tasks, (you'll learn alot from the challanges). #2 If you want little bit more of freedom on working hours during a day or week. #3 Somewhat fun project - but not allways. #4 Monday and friday coffee breaks/fika is good. At the HQ(Gävle) you get a sandwhish or some cookie. #5 If you haven't got any other employ then you can seek for hiring at Syntronic but otherwise not recommended.

Cons

I could write this list long. #1 You never get to go on any cources to get new knowledge. The culture is: You can allways read the knowledge for free somewhere. #2 As a principle you'll never get salary raises more than 1~2%/year. (If you ask for more it rather gonna turn out you'll end up with 0% salary rise). Majority of the employees has less than 30,000SEK/month in salary. #3 You never get to buy any tools like screwdrivers, nippers, instruments, etc. #4 Most of the instruments/computers are getting really old. #5 You'll never get any ergonomic office furniture. (It's a principle - you might get if you have a doctor who has precsribed it for you). #6 No contract with the workers unions. (No collective agreement). #7 No safety working inspectors or work safety management.

Pros

Oppertunities to work at different companies and environments. 4 weeks vacation.

Cons

Employees viewed as a dollar figure, so will recruit beyond reason. No potential for growth. Lower than industry standards pay. Mandatory that you pay expensive benefit premiums. No HR makes for a lack structure / support for new employees.

Pros

Well I don't know what the pros are for Syntronic. I was mostly out sold to customers but from time to time I got back to the smal office space. Well okey, one pros maight be that most of the former colleagues was young and in my age. We shared sort of same interests.

Cons

Oh boy, where to start.. The company culture and the managers them self and their attitude is bad or horrible. The majority of them lack big time in management skills of people. Well Linköping had and has just one manager. But the talk goes between the employees between the offices. If you start working at Syntronic, be prepared to halt or end your knowledge development. No one or a little few gets the chance to attend to cources or furter education through the company. I got the comment one time that I could pay myself and take vacation if I so badly wanted to attend to a workshop at a software company. The pay check is really bad in comparison to other companies. All my friends were horrified of how I could have and accept a salary of 7 000 SEK under normal. Today I don't know why.
