Pros

In the early days it was a fun place to work. A great community and team. That's no longer the case. Just good artists left.

Cons

The management culture has become toxic. Alot of infighting, back stabbing and lying. Don't trust anything they say. The management when they should be supporting their artists are too busy bad mouthing everyone behind their backs. No training, low pay (compared to other companies - but you get free coffee Wednesdays!) Not a great place to develop your career. Clients and artists don't like working with them. To top it off, the LA staff always criticize the London teams very publicly. Not nice at all

Thank you for taking the time to write about your time with us at the London studio. Your thoughts are very strong and you seem to attack the management team who work very hard to support the artists and team members. Perhaps you yourself had a bad experience with the company however we take great pride to make the atmosphere and progression path as exciting as it can be. The career paths are actually created by our Supervisors in the company who understand what it is and what it takes as an artist to successfully progress. The studio has grown a lot and was recently awarded the 2nd best place to work in the UK. This is voted as by the artists and team members who spend time in the company and who choose to progress with us. We are very satisfied in our retention rates as they are remarkably high with many people remaining in post for well over 3 to 5 years or more and with progression. You also mention that there are ‘just good artists left.’ We doubt that artists will remain if they feel unsupported in such a competitive market. Our pay is also in-line with other Previs and VFX houses and we deliver training throughout the year. As a member of the management team it is disappointing that you have taken the time to write inaccurate information and made false accusations. You have also listed yourself as a current employee however I question if this is the case, as you have such a negative view on the studio. If you are a current employee then I would encourage and suggest that you raise your grievance to a supervisor or a manager at the studio who will be very willing to talk over your concerns.
