Avoid if possible

Pros

Exposure to a few Gartner experts, possibility to take on responsibility

Cons

Poor working culture, poor product offering, labour laws not being followed, hr have no clue about policies outside of the US; huge focus on making money regardless the function you are in; inability to take on criticism; poor job security; poor career opportunities; expected to work after hours with no regard for personal commitments; this company will not survive on its own and donors will only support it for so long without seeing profits.

Terrible place to work

Pros

Ability to work from home Some nice employees (who have now left)

Cons

An awful place to work with horrendous management and a toxic culture. People were threatened with being fired/managed out if they didn’t comply with rampant drinking, backstabbing and sometimes bullying culture. Sexism often left unchecked. Management could induce fear over employees with no repercussions. It was a constant state of fighting for employment, and as other reviews have mentioned, labor laws (seemingly) being broken. I cannot stress enough how much you should avoid this company in its current state. There is no opportunity here, only disappointment and termination.

Pros

Exposure to big clients / logos - a lot more responsibility than you will get elsewhere Can make good money with healthy commission and SPIFF (though note $$$ is main value proposition at this stage) New products - though still undefined and or evolving - do give reps lots of options in terms of things to sell People will leave so opportunities created for people to rise quickly if you do a good job and drink the kool aid

Cons

Core SaaS product is very hard to use, client enablement / support is immature + competition have capitalised on this, closing in fast Support functions, infrastructure and processes are miles off - plus speed of change to improve this + product is eye wateringly slow (if you want things to get better you need to do it yourself) PE culture - focus on $$/operations before vision/employees - high turnover in 2024 + more to follow - has created self-preservation in leaders/managers, interesting environment Related to this, changes have come regularly and harshly, low awareness and capability in comms or forethought to knock on effects has harmed engagement - know there will be more to come

Talent Neuron Response

Thank you for your honest and constructive review. We appreciate your feedback and we are glad to hear that you enjoyed some aspects of working at TalentNeuron, such as the exposure to big clients, the compensation programs, new products, and the opportunities for career advancement. We are sorry to hear that you faced some challenges and frustrations. We take your feedback seriously and we are working hard to address these issues and improve our performance and culture. - Core SaaS product: Work is already underway to make our product even more user-friendly. We are investing more in our product development and innovation to enhance features and functionality by listening to our customers and employees to understand their needs and expectations. We provide data and insights trusted by 60% of the Fortune 100 and we will continue to deliver a high-quality and reliable product that provides value to our clients. - Support functions: We recognize that our support functions, such as client enablement, operations, and processes, are not as efficient and effective as they could be. We are hiring more talent and expertise to strengthen our support teams and provide more training and guidance to our existing staff. We are also streamlining and automating our processes to reduce errors and delays and increase productivity and customer satisfaction. We want to provide excellent service and support to our clients and employees. - Culture: With significant transitions like the PE acquisition, change is to be expected, and we acknowledge that can be stressful to navigate. We expect that TalentNeuron will continue to experience change as we evolve the business and innovate to meet the ever more complex demands of the market. We are investing in training to help our leaders guide and thrive through change. And we are committed to improving our culture and maintaining a positive and engaging work environment for our employees through regular opportunities for feedback and engagement action plans. Change also presents an opportunity for us to lean more heavily into a culture of learning, growth, and innovation. We value our employees, and we want them to feel appreciated and empowered. - Communication: We are committed to transparency and are striving to be even more clear and consistent. We know that some of our employees have felt confused and uncertain about the vision, the strategy, and the direction of the company. Each month via our CEO Town Hall we provide regular updates on performance, strategy, product updates and spotlights on our various teams. We have also created a number of avenues, such as roundtables, leadership councils and engagement surveys encouraging more dialogue and feedback from our employees to understand their concerns and suggestions. We hope that this response addresses your concerns and shows our commitment to improving upon our solid foundation and engaging culture. We value your feedback, and we welcome your suggestions on how we can do better. We thank you for your contribution to TalentNeuron and we wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
