Inconsistent Leadership & Toxic workplace

Pros

- flexible hours/ wfh - start up culture - most colleagues are great

Cons

- Leadership doesn't know what they're doing, CEO doesn't know how to take criticism and only thinks he is right - Goal post is always moving, pressure stemming from board / ceo feeds into leadership team- only surround themselves with yes men - If you push for any of your own ideas be careful you will be slapped with a PIP and most likely fired or pressured to resign

Like kids playing house ...

Pros

Some really smart people. Some people who believe in the company's mission. Remote-first.

Cons

Management crippled by indecision. None have come from anything but a start-up environment, so the idea of "being profitable" is lost. The only concern is building brand (which makes little sense, since it means the owner can sell for a higher price; which will effectively put most of the workers out of a job).

Pros

Swag Swag Swag Swag and maybe some people

Cons

Benefits are weak No parental leave No performance reviews No clear vision Poor product Churning customers Disappointing leadership Unrealistic unachievable goals Long demanding hours Forced quarterly in office fun Waste of time meetings Cultureless No HR department No guarantee on a timely paycheck. just to name a few Recruiting department does a good job on selling this company but many regret it after a few weeks of joining so accept at your own risk. Positive reviews are more than likely from the CEO and recruiting
