      Growing company, but micro-managed.

      Pros

      Company is aggressively expanding and I worked with smart and very dedicated people. If you don't want a ton of hand-holding and mentoring, you'll be fine. Values customers and their relationships.Good work/life balance.

      Cons

      Huge competitors in the space so hard to make an impact and win large clients (small fish in a big, well-funded pond). Sales staff is limited which doesn't help. Internal communication around product evolution is poor from management. HR support is non-existent.

      Pros

      -Calm environment -on top of peel metro -working independent -team meeting / team bonding 1-2 a month with activities -good place to start career and progress -salary is just decent; just been bought by a international company so maybe it will change and they are letting us work independently for now. -There is always work for all departments.

      Cons

      -promotion/upgrades: not sure what will happen since we have been bought by another company. -salary can be slighty better -for some devs they only focus on Maintenance which can be tedious for some of them and might lose motivation and innovation -should change our backend technology to something like JNode or something better -some clients are a pain, this occurs everywhere and in every company. -benefits can be slighty better (some personal days will be great)

      Pros

      I was lucky to have the chance to work on a very fun and rewarding project. My manager was fast and effective. The pay was fine, not great, but fine. Overall, it's a calm and easy place to work at.

      Cons

      Everything is slow. Things take forever to happen. There is little company culture. Hope you get assigned to an interesting project. Internal documentation is either lacking or 10 years out of date. It's easy to get bored because most technologies they use are ridiculously outdated.
