Pros

Some genuinely nice and talented people there, base and OTE are attractive but OTE no where near achievable.

Cons

mess from the start - took 3 months to get a work laptop and any home equipment, constant layoffs, have some good logos but tiny penetration, no one in new biz hits quota

Pros

Free lunch and some cool people.

Cons

- Extremely toxic work environment - Micro-managing (have to be in office 4 days a week + "ten non-negotiable rules") - CRO committed fraud - No real sales process; long deal cycles due to the product not being a need - Definition of scummy sales tactics (pricing is completely made up) - Over 20 people left the company over the course of two months. The current Chief Revenue Officer lied about deals that never actually closed to investors when he was the VP of Sales. Instead of getting fired he was promoted to CRO a year later. This is knowledge that the CEO was aware of. Aside from committing fraud he is very inexperienced and demands his "executive" presence on calls yet he's known as a "deal killer" This isn't shocking at all for Templafy. Leadership is dominated by people with very little experience that have no idea how to run a company. People who have been promoted to leadership positions are the ones who have an in with the CEO. All of the reviews regarding the toxic bro environment are true. The CEO openly talks about how the negative reviews are "BS" at lunch and company events. He is VERY out of touch with reality. He didn't even know what pride month was. Templafy prides itself on being an "enterprise software" but in truth, the deal cycles are super long because no company actually needs the product. Pricing is completely made up and the sales team is never honest about the amount of time it takes to implement or stand the product up. Very sketchy sales process. Here's the cherry on top: there are "ten non-negotiable" rules that the sales team has to follow, which include the following: - Emoji every slack message that a manager puts in any channel - Take every client call on the sales floor - Camera always on during meetings If you take your career and development seriously do not work here. Templafy tries to market itself as a "cool" and "fun" start-up but it is everything but that.
