Work produced here is generally benefitting mankind. Most products are for health diagnostics or treatment devices. Other product lines benefit scientific or industrial research. A lot of projects involve cutting edge technology at the end user's side. This alone gives a lot of job satisfaction. Tesla has a world class machine shop. Amazing things are made there.

I have been with Tesla since 2010 and the company has come a long way in that time. I worked hard, stayed late, came in early, showed enthusiasm and learnt as much as I could in the early days of my career here and it has paid off. Management listen to my ideas and I feel respected for my knowledge, experience and decision making. We build cancer treating magnets! Have you ever saved someone's life or given them a few more years with loved ones by stacking a box on a shelf or scanning a banana through a till? probably not. The company in the last few years have really pulled out all the stops for a better working environment and they are still improving month on month. They have listened to their staff and are trying to implement reasonable changes. Job security and overtime is also great. Some of the perks are surprisingly good compared to other places.
