Pros

The only pro was the day I walked out the door.

Cons

The management is abusive. They belittle you in public, I have never experienced anything like this. 26 person turn around, three in my position alone! Management sends emails about employees that they fire after giving no notice for no good reason using profanity and calling them names and yes I have it to prove!. It is terrible, I have never seen such behavior. This company will not last the test of time. The best...perfection in SPELING (YES I MISSPELLED IT). THEY NEED TO REVIEW THEIR OWN EMAILS FOR SPELLING BEFORE THEY COMMENT AND CORRECT AND BADGER EVERYONE ELSE!. it is absurd they way they behave, the abuse they give to people. Heaven help you if you leave when your supposed to, you are looked at like you did something wrong - oh no you are to stay...through lunch, come early and stay late. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR JOB FOR THIS COMPANY. DO NOT.

Pros

Some such as 401k match after one year but I had to leave because it wasn't worth it.

Cons

These last few positive reviews are a lame attempt by employees of The ALS Group to spread something positive about this horribly run company. All of the negative reviews listed on Glassdoor are 100% accurate. The owner and admin partner are unprofessional, rude, condescending, etc. This is the primary reason employee turnover is probably the worst of any company (about 30 people have been fired or resigned in about …

The Truth Hurts

Pros

If you enjoy indentured servitude, this is the place for you.

Cons

The ALS Group is a revolving door company. Employees come and go faster than the daily newspaper. While I worked at ALS, a small company of about 12 employees (including management), I saw nearly 30 employees either quit or be fired in less than a year. Employees can and have been fired on a moments notice because of how the owner simply feels that day. There is absolutely no job security at the ALS Group and it will be your biggest mistake to leave any job to join this company. If you are desperate enough to take this job, do not be fooled by the 830 to 530 workday. You will be given no formal training, but you will be handed an 80 page manual that the owner expects you to memorize. You will be expected to work 55 to 60 hours a week minimum. You will answer emails at night and on the weekends. You will have no work life balance. You will be constantly lectured by the owner and his family on how they are paying you their money, paying your bills, and allowing you to provide for your family as if his money was a gift from God. The worst part is that the owner knows he has anger issues and that he is running his company more like a sweat shop than a place of business. He simply does not care and he will never change. Do not be fooled by the positive reviews on this website, they are fabrications written by the owner and his family in order to boost their standing on this website. Every single positive review was written by the management or his family.
